I’m not really a book trailer person.
Shh. Don’t tell anyone, ok?
Wait. What did you think I was going to say there?
Anyway, it’s been debated on many other blogs way more interesting than this one as to whether or not book trailers are effective or not.
Oh, did you think I was going to link to those blogs? Clearly you are new to my blog.
Whatever. Who really knows. Most of the time, they seem sort of silly. But every once in a while they are really well done and I think, man, that was smart.
You may recall (in a simultaneous display of stunning book trailer-making and bloggering) the reveal of the book trailer for IN A FIX (assuming we ignore the fact that it had to be revealed over 2 or 3 posts.
And here is another one. This one is just plain awesome. Dare I call it…shibumi? I do! I dare! It’s so SHIBUMI!!!
No wait, it’s crazy shibumi!!! Because we’re talking about MIND GAMES by Kiersten White, and whenever I say anything about MIND GAMES, I have to include the word crazy. It’s crazy awesome. It’s crazy shibumi. It’s just crazy crazy!!
And I can’t wait for you to read it. It’s coming out on February 19.
