08 Jan So Don’t Worry, I Have A Backup Plan
I know. Isn’t that a brilliant title to a post??
But kind of a sucky attitude to go into something with. Or maybe brilliant. I honestly don’t know anymore.
Should you go in full force like that crazy cakes girl on the Bachelor last night who showed up in a wedding dress??? Well who woulda thunk it but she got a rose! Then again that looney tunes 50 Shades girl got sent packing.
Either way, I’m thinking no backup plan.
I’d say I’m an ALL IN kind of gal, but then I have a back-up plan anyway.
Like maybe you didn’t notice, but for those of you who don’t like the way I’ve been spelling back up, I’ve been switching it up.
Anyhoo, it’s a new year. But I don’t really do resolutions. I like the idea that Eileen Cook suggested (from someone else) about coming up with 3 words (go search her website if you want links, sheesh! Maybe my first word for the year is lazy), but I think I need more time to think about my three words and so by the time I come up with them, it’ll probably be time for 2014.
Oh, I know what my point was. Maybe I’m a little behind the times here, but I’m a small business and I only just hit 5 years (woo hoo 5 years!!) but one of my words for the year is going to be outsource.
So when I read this nifty little article on cool apps or cool things or cool something or others, it led me to this secret place that I can’t tell you about or you’ll take all the good little bunnies.
But if it works, then I will tell you about it.
In the meantime, let’s celebrate because MIND GAMESÂ by Kiersten White got a great review in Kirkus Reviews, which called it, “An effective paranormal thriller, even in this crowded market.” Go check out those eyes on the cover. And pre-order while you’re there.
I think my work here is done for the day.
Ha. When I was putting tags on my post–which I totally forget to do sometimes but I really like that little pile of words on the side–I realized that I never got to the point of the post. If my bunny plan doesn’t work, I have a back up plan. So don’t worry, ok?

Congrats to Kiersten (and you!) on her great Kirkus review. 🙂

Posted at 10:16h, 09 JanuaryCongrats all around and best wishes for the new year. I think it’s just a “woman thing” to have a back up plan…. even when we are all in. Sometimes things take a turn… 😉 And they we’re prepared, right?

Posted at 10:18h, 09 JanuaryWait, this isn’t one of those apps that scan your emails (ahem, queries and such) for key words, is it? I sooooooooo suck at those, lol. 😉 Good luck with “whatever” it is, and hope you’ll tell us about it soon.
